Rugged mountains, glaciers, flocks of seabirds, Narwhals, and traditional Inuit culture awaits with Baffin Island floe edge birding.
We experience dramatic Arctic landscape when the sun never sets and wildlife is returning to the Arctic. e Birds in abundance include the Thick-billed Murre, Black-legged Kittiwake, and King and Common Eiders. Other highlights include Sabine’s and Thayer’s gulls, Red-throated Loon and with much luck, we may see the all white Ivory Gull.
